The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Architectural Barriers demands that for construction projects with costs of $50,000 or more, a full set of construction documents are to be submitted for review and inspection in accordance with Texas Government Code, Chapter 469. For decisions on if a facility is subject to the Architectural Barriers Act, reference Administrative Rule 68.20.
ACI Consulting Architects' construction inspectors are licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to perform TAS inspections in the name of the State. As per Administrative Rule 68.52 section a, the inspection must be done within the first anniversary of construction completion.
